YvY HSE — Evidence-Grounded AI Work Companion for HSE Operations

About this project

YvY HSE is an AI-powered work companion designed to help Health, Safety and Environment professionals work faster, with better access to operational information, approved knowledge and supporting evidence.

HSE teams often need to move between incident registers, corrective actions, KPIs, procedures, permits and technical documentation just to answer a single operational question. YvY brings this information into one conversational workspace, allowing professionals to ask questions naturally and receive relevant operational data and guidance without manually navigating multiple parts of the system.

The AI agent can retrieve open and overdue actions, incidents, projects and safety performance indicators, consult approved HSE knowledge and present the evidence behind its answers. This makes it easier to understand not only what the answer is, but where it came from and how reliable the available evidence is.

YvY also helps professionals stay ahead of important work. Operational Attention highlights items that need review, including high-priority actions and pending approvals, while the conversational interface allows users to investigate those items directly.

Context is preserved across the conversation, so users can ask follow-up questions without repeatedly explaining the same situation. Explicit long-term memory can also retain selected preferences or context when requested, while current operational records remain the authoritative source of information.

For safety-critical workflows, YvY keeps people in control. Human-in-the-Loop approval ensures that critical decisions remain with authorized professionals. The system can support the decision with information and evidence, but it does not replace field verification or professional responsibility.

To improve trust and traceability, YvY can show supporting sources, citations, scope and verification status. When sufficient evidence is not available, it can clearly indicate that more confirmation is needed instead of presenting an unsupported answer as verified.

Optional voice interaction makes it possible to hear concise summaries while the screen preserves more detailed information and evidence.

The goal of YvY HSE is to reduce the time professionals spend searching for information, make important operational issues easier to identify, and provide a more traceable way to interact with HSE data and approved knowledge — while keeping human judgement at the centre of safety-critical decisions.
