AI Keto RAG Assistant is a full-stack AI application that combines Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), conversational workflows, and medical safety rules to provide personalized weight-loss guidance for the Protedi Ketoglyc program. The assistant helps users navigate dietary phases, product recommendations, and doctor referral pathways while delivering grounded, context-aware responses.
The project was built using a FastAPI backend, Next.js frontend, OpenAI language models, and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline powered by a vector database. In addition to answering questions, the assistant guides users through onboarding workflows, provides phase-specific nutritional information, applies medical safety constraints, and recommends appropriate consultation options when professional supervision is required. The project demonstrates the integration of modern AI technologies with real-world business and healthcare requirements.
